Play is so much more than entertainment – it’s the foundation for development. Play supports motor abilities, relationships, emotion regulation, confidence, and countless other skills. Play looks different for babies. At this early age, play is all about sensory exploration and interaction.
Each week we will introduce different activities to stimulate your baby’s senses. We’ll learn about our eight (yes, eight!) senses and how each contributes to development. We’ll also go over how to read baby’s cues and adjust play to keep them comfortable and happy.
There will be just a few things to gather around the house for each class. If you don’t have any items, not to worry! We can easily adapt :)
All classes will be 25 minutes long. Sign up at least 15 minutes before class and we'll send around a Zoom link for you to join the video conference, as well as a list of basic household items to have available for class.
At Play 2 Progress, we recognize that all babies develop at slightly different rates - and that's totally normal! Our classes are organized by developmental milestone, rather than by chronological age, so you should choose a class based on what feels like the right fit to you. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us - we're happy to help!
*If you want to join but these times don't work for you, let us know! We are adding more class times and would be happy to work with you :)
