Parent Support Discussion with Developmental Pediatrician Dr. Anshu Batra

      Recorded Monday, April 6, 2020

Every Monday night, Play 2 Progress hosts experts in their fields to answer parents' questions live.  This is a recording of Dr. Allie Ticktin's discussion with Dr. Anshu Batra.

      Anshu Batra, M.D., F.A.A.P.
graduated from University of Michigan Medical School and completed her pediatric specialty training at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is Board Certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics who has been in private practice in West LA for over 20 years.

As a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, Dr Batra specializes in the evaluation and management of children with early childhood neurodevelopmental and behavioral challenges. Dr. Batra welcomes a multidisciplinary approach from a broad array of therapists, educators, psychologists, and other professionals working with children. She recognizes that her role as a physician for children with special needs is to serve as the “quarterback” of the therapeutic team and provide comprehensive medical expertise, support and therapeutic guidance for parents and their children.

She is the proud mother of three boys, one of whom is diagnosed with autism. Dr. Batra’s personal journey with this disorder has additionally made her an outspoken advocate for early identification and intervention of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially Autism.

Most importantly, Dr Batra is passionate about and loves what she does. She strives to help each child in her “Our Special Kids” family, develop emotional resilience while working towards their highest potential.
