Internships

Play 2 Progress offers internships for current college students and post 4 year degree individuals looking to satisfy the admissions requirements for advanced degrees in Occupational Therapy. We recommend confirming eligibility and volunteer requirements with your prospective institution. 

Level 1 Internships - Our level 1 interns work with our recreational sensory development classes by assisting with preparation, clean-up and providing support during the class. We require a commitment of 8-12 weeks with a minimum of 3 hours per shift. Intern shifts are typically available Mon-Sat between the hours of 8:30 and 1pm. Level 1 internships are unpaid.  

Level 2 Internships - A select number of our level 1 interns and/or candidates that have more extensive experience are invited to participate in our Level 2 internships program. Please note completion of the level 1 internship does not guarantee a spot in our level 2 program. Level 2 interns assist our OTs with our emotional regulation groups. These positions are paid and require a long-term commitment of 6-12 months. 

Internships are assessed on a rolling basis. All interns are subject to a comprehensive background check.
