Pre-Preschool (16-35 months)
Our sensory-based program is designed to engage all of your child's senses, fostering holistic development and a love for learning. As your child prepares to join a group schooling environment, our schedule is organized to mimic the typical day in preschool. Our curriculum includes interactive learning experiences emphasizing touch, sight, sound, and smell, igniting your child's natural sense of wonder and discovery.
A typical day at our program is intentionally designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and promote the development of essential skills. Here's a glimpse into what a day at Play 2 Progress looks like:

9:15-9:25 Morning Circle: We kick off the day with our welcome song, saying hello to our friends and reviewing an outline of what we will be doing in class that day. This time allows children to connect with their peers and educators, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
9:25-9:55 Class Room Time: We will focus on our fine motor, attention, and social skills. This portion of pre-preschool will allow your child to become comfortable working in an interactive group-play environment. Here, we will dive into emergent activities, art projects, imaginary play, and preschool readiness. Over the course of the session, we will work progressively to increase children's independence and require less assistance from their adults.
Our curriculum includes interactive learning experiences emphasizing touch, sight, sound, smell, proprioception, vestibular input, and interoception, igniting your child's natural sense of wonder and discovery. Our program features a variety of sensory play stations where children can explore different textures, colors, and materials. Children are encouraged to engage their senses and express their creativity from dramatic play to hands-on art activities.
10-10:15 Snack and Rest Time: A nutritious snack and rest period allow children to refuel and recharge, ensuring they have the energy to fully engage in the day's activities. Children are encouraged to bring snacks to share and eat in a communal setting where we can promote social interaction.
10:15-10:45 Gym Time: During our time in the gym, your kiddo will have the opportunity to engage in various sensory play activities such as exploring textured surfaces, choosing one of our myriad of play swings, riding the zipline, or playing in our foam pit. These activities will help develop your child's gross and fine motor skills, as well as their cognitive and social abilities. Our fully equipped sensory gym creates a safe and nurturing environment where toddlers can have fun while learning and growing.
10:45-11 Storytime and Language Development: We believe in the power of storytelling and language development. Children participate in interactive and multisensory storytimes, fostering a love for literature and language while engaging their auditory and imaginative faculties.

Providing a balance of sensory-rich experiences, play-based learning, and intentional teaching creates an environment where each child can thrive and develop a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
