All sessions are led by child development experts and cover topics such as infant development, sleep routines, feeding, proper fit of infant carriers and equipment, sensory strategies to help calm baby, and toy recommendations.

Play 2 Progress Baby & Me classes are built to help moms and dads understand and support their children's development. We talk about how our sensory systems work and how they develop over time, while exploring fun, play-based ways to give that development a boost - both in class and at home.

In each class, experts in child development help parents and babies explore age-appropriate gross and fine motor challenges together. By the end of class, our goal is that parents understand their child’s emotional, cognitive, physical and social development as well as how to support it using the thing their children do best: play! All classes are 45 minutes in length. 

Topics include:

  •   Gross motor and fine motor development
  •   Coordination
  •   Social and emotional development
  •   Transitions and parent separation
  •   Parent support and education

 

    At Play 2 Progress, we recognize that all babies develop at slightly different rates - and that's totally normal! Our classes are organized by developmental milestone, rather than by chronological age, so you should choose a class based on what feels like the right fit at the time the class begins. Note that we start pre-crawlers at about 3 months old; if you have any other questions, feel free to contact us - we're happy to help!

    Also note that we require liability forms to complete before coming in for your first class (drop-in classes included!). Please allow yourself up to 15 minutes to complete paperwork before class begins :)

    All class sales are final and we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or credit for unused classes within a series. We're sorry about that! We do offer a drop-in option for all classes, as availability allows.
