Sample Daily Schedule

9:00-9:30 Drop-off + Big Gym Gross Motor Activities

At drop-off, our P2P team will be ready to greet campers and grown ups will say goodbye at the door!

Once we wash our hands and leave our backpacks and shoes in our cubbies, we will join our friends the big gym. We'll build forts, make our way across obstacle courses, and get our bodies moving through gross motor activities that will engage our coordination, balance, and motor planning skills!

9:30-10:00 Small Group - Fine Motor Activities

After playing in the big gym, we will create and craft away according to our weekly theme! In Superhero Camp, we'll design our superhero capes. In Jungle Camp, we'll create our very own jungle animals!

Engaging in arts & crafts can improve dexterity and fine motor skills. They can also impact social & emotional development, allowing our little ones to practice self-expression and explore emotion through art!

10:00-10:30 Snack

After a fun morning of playing, we'll come together for snack time. Snack time gives us the opportunity to work on transitions and sequencing of steps (wash hands, get snack, sit down). Most of all, snack time provides a space for our class to come together and practice our language development as we communicate with our peers.

10:30-11:00 Small Group - Tactile Play

It's time to get messy! Campers will explore our themed taste-safe sensory bins. Messy play impacts fine motor skills, feeding, body awareness, motor planning, emotion regulation, and social skills.

The tactile system is our largest sensory system and from the time we are born, we rely on tactile information to feel balanced, organized, and regulated.

11:00-11:30 Small Group - Centers

While we are a sensory gym at heart, our small room activities allow us to simulate a traditional classroom environment where children can interact in a more approachable way. This smaller learning environment will help us hone in on social, physical, and cognitive skills. Some days we will build puzzles, other days we will sort or build, but most of all, we will work together to accomplish our daily tasks and clean up as a team!

11:30-12:00 Big Gym - Gross Motor Activities

We'll return to the big gym for some gross motor activities just before lunch! In Spy Kids camp, we'll sneakily make our way through the laser maze. In Circus Camp, we'll juggle balloons and work to keep them in the air as long as possible! No matter the camp, we will engage in different, fun, and playful activities to keep camp exciting for everyone.

12:00-12:30 Lunch

We'll come together for lunch just before our day is over to connect and share about our favorite activities of the day.

12:00-12:30 Cozy Corner + Story Time

It is so important that we give little ones the opportunity to self-regulate throughout the day.

At the end of our busy camp day, we will come together in a cozy space for story time, calming our bodies and getting ready to say goodbye after a wonderful day of play and learning together.

What else to know about summer camps:

  • We will get messy during camp! Please send your child in clothes you don't mind getting messy, and send a change of clothes, just in case.

  • Make sure to pack a lunch, snack, and a water bottle with your child every day, and please label ALL belongings with your child's full name!

  • Please also email back with any allergies your little one(s) have so we can make sure to accommodate accordingly during snack and lunch time :)

  • Please do not pack any foods containing nuts and please also note that we will be providing a special treat on Friday, and will be carefully reviewing allergy information and food restrictions when choosing the treat!

If you have any questions about our program, feel free to give us a call or contact us via email - we'd love to chat!
